Hanoi, 22 October 2002 - Kayaba Industry Co., Ltd. (Japan) decided to locate one of its factory in TLIP and become the twenty first tenant in TLIP. The I/L was awarded to the representatives of Kayaba Industry  Co., Ltd. (Japan) by representatives of Hanoi Authority for Export Processing and Industrial Zones (aka HIZA).

The new company is organized in the form of 100% foreign owned enterprise and will specialize in manufacturing and selling parts and components of automobile, motorcycles, and others. The lifetime of Kayaba Vietnam Co., Ltd. stipulated in the I/L is up to 2047. Kayaba Vietnam's products will be supplied to automobile or motorcycle manufacturers in Vietnam and it is estimated that this company will use around 20 employees recruited from local labor force when it starts operation.
