Hanoi, 16 September 2002 - A steel center invested by Asian Steel Co., Ltd. (Singapore) has been located in TLIP. This steel center namely Hanoi Steel Center Co., Ltd. becomes the nineteenth tenant in TLIP. The I/L was awarded to the representatives of Hanoi Steel Center Co., Ltd. by representatives of Hanoi Authority for Export Processing and Industrial Zones (aka HIZA).

The new company is organized in the form of 100% foreign owned enterprise and will specialize in processing steel sheets in order to supply other tenants in Vietnam. The lifetime of Hanoi Steel Center Co., Ltd. stipulated in the I/L is up to 2047. Around 70% of Hanoi Steel Center's products will be exported and it is estimated that this company will use around 34 employees recruited from local labor force when it starts operation.
