Hanoi, 30 August 2002 - Ohara Jushi Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Japan) decided to locate one of its factory in TLIP and become the seventeenth tenant in TLIP. The I/L was awarded to the representatives of Ohara Jushi Koyo Co., Ltd. (Japan) by representatives of Hanoi Authority for Export Processing and Industrial Zones (aka HIZA).

The new company is organized in the form of 100% foreign owned enterprise and will specialize in manufacturing and assembling dies, plastics molding parts for automobile and others.  The lifetime of Ohara Plastics Vietnam Co., Ltd. stipulated in the I/L is up to 2047. 100% of Ohara Vietnam's products will be exported and it is estimated that this company will use around 31 employees recruited from local labor force when it starts operation.
