Volex received Investment
License in TLIP

Hanoi, 09 August 2001 - Volex (Asia) Pte. Ltd., a reputed company specializing in connector cables, have been awarded the Investment License by HIZA to open production base in North Thang Long Industrial Park. Volex Cable Assembly (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., the name company, registered with total legal capital of USD 0.6 million, total investment of USD 1.7 million, and the life time of 46 years. Main products of the company are power supply cords and inter-connectors, which are widely used in electronic devices such as printers, computers, adapters... According to initial scheme, this company will start operation by January 2002 and all of its products will be exported. This company will hire about 300 workers from local labor force when their production assembly line comes into full operation.
